Karnataka Minority Professional Colleges Entrance Test for Admission to Medical, Dental and Engineering Minority Colleges of Karnataka.

KRLMPCA - Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association of Karnataka will conduct the Entrance Exam in May 2009 for admission to the Minority Quota seats in the minority Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka on the lines of COMEDK and KCET.

Application Forms:

• Online submission can be done on www.kmca.info from 20.03.2009. Last date for the receipt of applications is 21.04.2009.

Eligbility:
Medical:

• Candidates should have passed II PUC /10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate in PCB

Engineering:

• Candidates should have passed II PUC / 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate of minimum 45% in the optional subjects.
• Candidate securing less than 50% of aggregate marks in the UG CET 2009 will not be eligible for admission and hence will not be included in Rank List. Candidates securing 50% of the marks or above in the UG CET 2009 will be ranked according to the marks secured by them.
• Candidates must fulfill all admission requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI

Dental:

• Candidates aspiring for Dentistry need not appear for UG CET 2009. However there would be centralized counseling for preparing merit list based on the marks obtained in PU / 12 / Equivalent. Details in this regard would be uploaded at a later date.
