Bangalore:The fourth annual Science Summit of the Karnataka Science and Technology Academy will be held on the Mangalore University premises on January 28.

The two-day event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda. Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor T.C. Shivashankara Murthy told presspersons here that the summit had been titled “New Horizon of Science and Technology: Opportunities and challenges”. There would be sessions on progress made and opportunities in the fields of space technology, food security, meteorology, and solar energy.
