B-school fest ‘Atharva' begins
Bangalore: The annual three-day B-school fest “Atharva”, organised by the T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) was inaugurated here on Thursday.
According to press release issued by the Institute here on Friday, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University K. Ramnarayan, who inaugurated the fest, said that B-school events played an important role in instilling team spirit among the students who come together to learn and share knowledge on various issues. He expressed his pleasure to be a part of inaugural ceremony of “Atharva”. He lauded the growth and achievements that TAPMI had made in the recent times.
Convener of “Atharva” Shivkumar Awati briefed the audience about the long journey and achievements of Atharva since its inception.
He spoke on different events that would be conducted during the three-day event from January 20 to 22. On the first day, events such as “Young Business Leader”, “Sankalp”, “Chakravyuh”, “Outcry”, “Sahayog”, and “Vibes” would be conducted on the campus of the Institute by student committees.
On the Second day, the Quiz on the Beach (QOTB) which is the flagship event of “Atharva” would be conducted on Kaup beach by the Tata Crucible Quiz Master Giri Balasubramaniam.
On the third day, “Polemic”, a corporate debate would be held at Fortune Inn Valley View. The topic for this year is “India in the 21st Century: Vision, hopes, and aspirations”. This would be followed by the valedictory function.
