Celebrating victory:Medal-winning athletes of Jain Pre-University College, Belgaum, with director of Jain Group of Institutions R.G. Dharwadkar and other staff members.
Belgaum: Belgaum city-based Jain Pre-University College emerged 'General Champions' in the Belgaum Taluk-level Sports Meet 2010-11 for pre-university students.
The sports meet was organised by Bhartesh P.U. College in association with the Pre-University Board, Belgaum.
The finals were held at C.P. Ed. College ground here on Friday.
The athletes of Jain College secured 14 gold, 11 silver and four bronze medals. Rahul Lad secured three gold and one silver medals.
The medal-winners of the college were felicitated by director of Jain Group of Institutions R.G. Dharwadkar, college principal Sandeep Nair, PUC co-ordinator A.K. Joshi, and physical directors Milind Chavan and Jeetendra Kakatikar.
