Gulbarga: Satish R. Inamdar and Raghunandan B. Desai of BLDEA's Dr. P.G. Halkatti College of Engineering and Technology, Bijapur, emerged winners at the regional finals of the Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) TechBytes Quiz held at the Appa Institute of Engineering and Technology here on Monday.

Vijayak Jyothi and V. Satyanarayana of the Rao Bahadur Mahabaleshwarappa College of Engineering, Bellary, were the runners-up. The winners received a scholarship for Rs. 15,000, a trophy and t-shirts and caps from TCS. They also qualified to participate in the State-level final scheduled to be held in Bangalore on May 1.

The runners-up received a scholarship for Rs. 10,000 and similar prizes from the TCS.

Six teams participated in the regional finals.
