Gulbarga: The Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering will celebrate its golden jubilee in a grand manner. President of the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society (HKES) Shashil G. Namoshi, who is also the chairman of the high-powered committee for the implementation of the recommendations of the Nanjundappa Committee report, said here on Saturday that Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa had agreed to lay the foundation stone for the Golden Jubilee Alumni Student Activity Centre to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 8 crore, on February 6. Mr. Namoshi said that he had also invited Chief Mentor of Infosys Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy.
