Bangalore to host ‘InfoVision 2009’ from Thursday
Mysore:The fourth edition of the knowledge summit InfoVision 2009, organised by the International School of Information Management (ISiM), University of Mysore, in collaboration with the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Triumph India Software Services, Bangalore, will be held in Bangalore on Thursday and Friday. The summit will take place at Hotel Le Meridien.
About 250 delegates are expected to participate in the event targeted mainly at content management, media and IT industries.
Participants
The participants will include information scientists and engineers, chief information officers and information/content managers, chief training officers and strategists in technology firms, chief executive officers and entrepreneurs of start-up companies and information architects, technology planners and digital librarians.
“The summit aims at bringing together visionaries and leaders in academia and industry to articulate their visions of the emerging knowledge economy and society. The event is expected to facilitate debate for providing directions to knowledge initiatives at the global and regional levels,” said Shalini R. Urs, Executive Director, ISiM, Mysore.
